Chicago Fire FC concludes its five-game road trip with a match against D.C. United in Washington, D.C. The game at Audi Field is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass via Apple TV. Locally, the match can be followed in English on wlsam.com and in Spanish through Que Buena Fire on the Uforia App.

Gregg Berhalter, Chicago Fire FC's Director of Football and Head Coach, has announced the Starting XI aiming to secure a sixth away win this season:

The lineup features five changes from the team that beat Orlando City SC 3-1 last Saturday. Jeff Gal steps in as goalkeeper for Chris Brady, who is with the U.S. Men’s National Team for the Concacaf Gold Cup. Omar González makes his first start for Chicago Fire FC, taking over from Christopher Cupps, who is with the U.S. U-17 Men’s National Team. This marks González's 267th career start in Major League Soccer.

Kellyn Acosta replaces Mauricio Pineda due to yellow card accumulation and will join Rominigue Kouamé and Philip Zinckernagel in midfield. Maren Haile-Selassie starts on the right wing; he has two assists in regular season play this year and additional contributions in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.

Tom Barlow makes his first start of 2025 at center forward, replacing Hugo Cuypers who is out with a lower body injury. Jonathan Bamba joins Barlow and Haile-Selassie up front.

In defense, Jack Elliott partners with González while wearing the captain’s armband for the 11th time this season. Fullbacks Andrew Gutman and Jonathan Dean complete the defensive line-up.

Unavailable players include Omari Glasgow (international duty), Carlos Terán (lower body injury), Chris Mueller (not due to injury), David Poreba (lower body injury), Dje D’Avilla (not due to injury), alongside Pineda and Cuypers.

Substitutes available are Bryan Dowd; defenders Leonardo Barroso, Sam Rogers, Chase Gasper; midfielders Brian Gutiérrez, Sam Williams, Vitaliy Hlyut; forward Jason Shokalook.
