Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has been recognized as the WNBA's Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 4, according to an announcement by the league. This period covers games played from June 23 to June 29 and marks Reese’s second time receiving this honor.

During this week, Reese averaged impressive statistics: 19.7 points, 17.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. Her shooting accuracy was notable with a field goal percentage of 48.9% and a free throw success rate of 92.3%. The Chicago Sky secured two wins out of three games during this timeframe.

In her first game of the week against Los Angeles, Reese achieved a season-high performance with 18 points, complemented by 17 rebounds, six assists, and four steals leading to a victory. On June 27 against Golden State, she scored a total of 17 points—12 in the decisive fourth quarter—and grabbed 18 rebounds.

Reese's performance peaked on June 29 in another win over the Sparks where she recorded remarkable stats: 24 points, 16 rebounds, seven assists, and two blocks. This achievement places her among elite company with only three other players—Tina Thompson, Lisa Leslie, and Candace Parker—having ever reached such numbers in league history; it is also a feat that had not been accomplished in over a decade.

Additionally, Reese extended her streak of securing at least 15 rebounds per game to four consecutive matches—a record-setting accomplishment within the league.
