The 139,496-square-foot complex at 4121 S. Packers Ave. was completed in March 2023 following $1 million in environmental remediation work. The facility employs more than 700 full- and part-time workers.
Illinois residents will have the opportunity to fish without charge from June 14-17, 2024, as part of the state's annual Free Fishing Days. During this period, residents can fish without needing a license, salmon stamp, or inland trout stamp.
