alderman candidate Brendan Reilly returns $1,000 contribution from Perillo BMW, Inc.

The campaign committee of alderman candidate Brendan Reilly, Citizens for Alderman Reilly, returned a $1,000 contribution from Perillo BMW, Inc. on Jan. 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Perillo BMW, Inc. has not made any other contributions to Brendan Reilly in the past 12 months.
