The Illinois Veterans’ Home on Tuesday appointed Troy Culbertson as its new administrator.
In his new position, Culbertson will be training new nursing home administrators.
Culbertson previously worked as a regional director of operations for Missouri Health Care Association, where he designed veteran-specific living units for enhanced camaraderie and created numerous veterans recognition ceremonies.
"I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to serve veterans and their families in Quincy," Culbertson said. "I am passionate about serving those who have served. This will be the highlight of my career. I am looking forward to joining the community and to continuing the wonderful legacy of providing the highest quality of care for our Illinois heroes,"
