City of Chicago Community Development Commission met March 12.

Chairman Jorge Perez called the meeting to order at 1:06 p.m. and then undertook a roll call to establish the presence of a quorum.

III. NEW BUSINESS
A. CENTRAL WEST TIF REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA (WARD 27)
Request authority to advertise the Department of Housing’s intention to enter into a negotiated sale with Mr. Bruce Ross for the disposition of the property located at 2019 W. Washington Boulevard in the Central West Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project Area, to request alternative proposals, and to approve the sale of the property to Mr. Bruce Ross if no responsive alternative proposals are received.

Washington Boulevard in the Central West Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project Area, to request alternative proposals, and to approve the sale of the property to Franklin Holdings, LLC – 28th Series if no responsive alternative proposals are received.

Van Buren Street in the Midwest Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project Area, to request alternative proposals, and to approve the sale of the property to Herban Produce, NFP if no responsive alternative proposals are received.

Christiana Avenue in the Division/Homan Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project Area, and to recommend to the City Council of the City of Chicago the designation of Latin United Community Housing Association as Developer.

Halsted Street, 1114-20 W. 59th Street and 1052-56 W. 59th Street in the Englewood Neighborhood Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project Area, to request alternative proposals, and to approve the sale to Neighbor Space if no responsive alternative proposals are received.
