City of Wheaton Board of Fire & Police Commissioners met Sept. 23.

Here is the minutes provided by the board:

I. Call to Order

At 4:01 p.m., the regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Chair Cannova. The meeting was held in the Gamon Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Chair Cannova, Commissioner Dulaney, Commissioner Haines, Commissioner Illia and Commissioner Wanzenberg. Also present were Police Chief Murphy, Deputy Chief Youker, Lt. Dillenkoffer, Lt. Conway and Director of Human Resources Schulz.

III. Approval of Minutes

Commissioner Illia moved and Commissioner Wanzenberg seconded to approve the minutes of the July 29th regular meeting. The motion carried unanimously.

Commissioner Dulaney moved and Commissioner Haines seconded to approve the minutes of the August 13th regular meeting. The motion carried unanimously.

VI. Closed Session - Police Officer Candidate Interviews 5ILCS 120/2(c)(1)

Commissioner Haines moved and Commissioner Illia seconded to go into Closed Session for the purpose of Police Officer Candidate interviews.
