City of Wheaton Board of Fire and Police Commissioners Met Sept. 7.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

I. Call to Order

At 3:40p.m., the regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Chair Cannova. The meeting was held in the Conley Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Chair Cannova, Commissioner Dulaney, Commissioner Haines, Commissioner Wanzenberg and Commissioner lllia. Also present were Police Chief Murphy, Deputy Police Chief Miller, Deputy Police Chief Youker and Director of Human Resources Schulz.

II. Public Comment

No public comment

Ill. Approval of Minutes

Commissioner lllia moved and Commissioner Dulaney seconded to approve the minutes of the July 28th regular meeting. The motion carried unanimously.

V. New Business

Commissioner Wanzenberg moved and Commissioner lllia seconded to end the probation for Police Officer Denis Doherty.

Motion Carried Unanimously

Commissioner Dulaney moved and Commissioner Haines seconded to end the probation for Police Officer Ryan Cusack.

Commissioner Wanzenberg moved and Commissioner Dulaney seconded to go into Closed Session for the purpose of Police Commander Promotional interviews at 3:43 p.m.
