City of Wheaton Board of Fire and Police Commissioners met Jan. 12.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
1. Call to Order At 4:13 p.m., the regular meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order by Chair Cannova. The meeting was held in the Gamon Room at Wheaton City Hall, 303 W. Wesley St., Wheaton, Illinois. Upon roll call, the following were present: Chair Cannova, Commissioner Haines, Commissioner Wanzenberg and Commissioner Illia. Also present were Police Chief Murphy, Deputy Chief Miller, Deputy Chief Youker, Police Lieutenant Conway, Police Sergeant Potter and Director of Human Resources Schulz.

III. Approval of Minutes Commissioner Illia moved and Commissioner Haines seconded to approve the minutes of the November 10th regular meeting. The motion carried unanimously.

Commissioners received a report for Quarterly Review – End of Probation for Sergeant Rob Miroballi
VI. Closed Session - Lateral Police Candidate Interviews 5ILCS 120/2(c)(21) Commissioner Wanzenberg moved and Commissioner Illia seconded to go into Closed Session for the purpose of Firefighter Candidate interviews at 4:22 p.m.
