The Chicago Sky has signed Jessika Carter to a training camp contract, as announced by the team. The terms of the contract have not been disclosed, following the team's policy.

Jessika Carter entered the WNBA in 2024, appearing in two games for the Las Vegas Aces. Initially, she was the No. 23 pick in the second round of the 2024 WNBA Draft by the New York Liberty.

Carter, standing at 6-foot-5, played for Mississippi State throughout her five-year college career. In a total of 151 games (113 of which she started), she averaged 11.6 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks, while maintaining a shooting accuracy of 54.4% from the field.

In her last three seasons at Mississippi State, Carter consistently averaged 14.3 points or more. She concluded her final collegiate year with an average of 9.9 rebounds and 1.7 blocks.

Carter has been recognized as a three-time All-SEC selection and was part of the SEC All-Defensive Team in 2023. She holds the Mississippi State record for most games played (151) and ranks seventh in points (1,750), fifth in field goals (718), third in blocks (238), and second in rebounds (1,120).
