The Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) has announced the opening of nominations for their fifth annual contest, Makers Madness: The Coolest Thing Made In Illinois, presented by Comcast Business.
According to the IMA, the contest aims to celebrate Illinois' manufacturing sector and the incredible products made in the state. They urge individuals to participate by nominating their favorite product or products.
Makers Madness is described as an online contest that highlights manufacturers, their products, and the people behind them. The IMA has partnered with Comcast Business, a technology provider to manufacturers in Illinois, for the contest.
Illinois residents have the opportunity to nominate and vote for their favorite item manufactured in the state, with the winner set to be revealed on April 10.
Nominations for Makers Madness are open until March 3 and can be submitted exclusively at www.MakersMadnessIL.com. Any product made in Illinois is eligible for nomination.
The final winner, dubbed "The Coolest Thing Made in Illinois," will be announced on April 10 at a special awards luncheon at the Governor’s Mansion in Springfield.
